Hello. My name is Duane Hatley and am based in Redruth, Cornwall. I have over 30 years experience in the building trade. I started working for my father- a groundworker and plasterer and my step father- a carpenter and joiner when I was 16. I have honed my skills in many trades over the years including bricklaying and stone masonry, carpentry first and second fix, rendering, plastering, paving, tiling and roofing. I also went to art college and have a degree. I have an eye for detail and somewhat of a perfectionist.  All of the work I carry out is done with a high level of commitment and always strive to maintain the highest standard to meet customer satisfaction. I have lived and worked in Australia for seven years and have been living in Cornwall for the past fourteen, during which time I have worked hard to maintain an excellent reputation amongst my many clients. 

Nick is my right hand man and has been working with me for the past 10 years.

He qualified as a painter and decorator and then spent seven years working on the railway in groundworks and his work ethic and commitment is second to none and together we make a hardworking team. Nick has also worked in the care sector and customers always comment on Nick’s approachable, friendly and polite manner. That’s why he is the company’s chief liaison officer!
