    Excellent builder

    We needed a small lean-to extension re-roofing and clad in PVC boarding. A small but quite tricky job.
    After contacting him, Duane came promptly to measure up and gave a competitive quotation. He organised all the materials and start date, and worked on through some cold and wet weather, including the weekend, to get the job done.
    Duane is very conscientious and hard working, kept us informed throughout and we were really pleased with the result. Highly recommended!

    Two really satisfied customers

    After several attempts to get builders to come and give us a quote, Duane was the only one who arranged to come within a very short space of time. His quote was also promptly sent to us. The work, which was considerable, was done to a very high standard. The one thing we liked about Duane was, there were never any negatives about the job, he always managed to find a way around the problems, and worked with a really positive attitude. He was always punctual, and stayed over his time when the need arose. We were kept up to speed on how the job was progressing at all times. Duanes work ethic, was such that the site was cleared and tidy at the end of every working day. Duane also organised and supervised the ancillary workers. The work was completed on time and to estimate. We would have no hesitation in recommending Duane for any work at all. Just to add , he is a really lovely approachable chap

    Duane and Nick did a fantastic job of our retaining wall which was a huge job and they often worked through atrocious wet & windy weather.He is very hard working,reliable and does everything to a very high standard.We would highly recommend him to anyone.

    D P Hatley Building Services – a professional and friendly service

    I can highly recommend D P Hatley Building Services. He undertook an almost complete renovation of my 19th. Century cottage, which had numerous problems with damp, woodworm etc. and involved reconstruction of floors and walls. I am delighted with the outcome. All of his work was to a very high standard. He is multi-skilled and reliable. His charges are fair, reasonable, and transparent. He is very knowledgeable, and planned the work to address the issues and to minimise costs to myself. All of the work to be done was explained in detail by him before the commencement of the works, and during the job itself. He also succeeded in curing a number of external leaks at the property which various other builders had previously tried to do and failed. I hope to use him again in the future. He would be my first-choice or ‘go-to’ builder for any further work or maintenance.
