Chimney Re-builds

All chimney stacks should have an in-built chimney tray to prevent the ingress of water and the appropriate flashings. These are nominally made from lead. Depending on the site of the stack on the roof the tray outlet is positioned 4″-6″ above the roof tiles during the build. All step flashings need to be chased into the mortar of the brickwork.
